I've been meaning to blog about the Terminator series for a while now, as I have only recently seen the films, but I don't want to delay this mention of the current film.
I loved it. I doubt anything will ever equal the feelings I had while watching Terminator, that suspense and awe, but Terminator Salvation does come as close as either of the other sequels. The music was great, they made nice use of the original theme in a few places, and when they did, it was very appropriate and impacting.
I don't want to raise people's hopes and expectations for this, in fear of raising them too much and the film not meeting them, but I highly recommend this movie.
Bye, bye, Star Wars. Terminator is my new favorite franchise.
